Alexia Bell began dancing at the age of six with the Houston academy of Irish dance in Calgary Alberta Canada
under the instruction of Kerry Houston, Sally Houston, and Kim Kinash. She has gone on to winning the Western Canadian Oireachtas, placing within the top 10 at the North American champions numerous times and placing within the top 20 at the worlds. In 2012 Alexia stepped out of the competitive world of Irish dance to start a career in show dancing. Her journey started with Take the floor a show created by Shane Mcavinchey and Paula Goulding to help dancers transition from competitive Irish dancing into professional dancing. Alexia stayed with them for the 3 summers the show ran in Ireland. Other shows have included The American company of Irish dance, Rhythm in the Night the Irish dance spectacular, and the Irish Dance Theatre.
Outside of show dancing, Alexia works in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, nutritional coach, and business owner of Elite X fitness. Finding her passion with fitness, mindset, and nutrition Alexia is continuing her education with studying for a bachelors in psychology.
