FEIS App Co-Creator Liam O’Sullivan – of Anton & Sully – started playing the button accordion at the age of 11 and after winning numerous titles he ventured out into professional performance with the folk band Mise. During this time Liam performed at virtually every folk festival across the UK and Europe, developing a respected name in the folk world in his chosen skill.
He was first introduced into the Irish Dancing world by being invited to go on tour with various Dance Shows such as Gaelforce Dance and Irish Nights and continued to work more recently with the new Irish music and dance production, Irish Celtic.
After meeting Anthony Davis it was suggested that Liam started playing feiseanna and after performing at a few events he paired up with Mr Davis in the studio to produce Anton & Sully, The Feis Album VOL I, VOL II, VOL III, VOL IV and VOL 5 – which have been an ongoing global success in the Irish Dancing world.
Having graced the side of feis stages around the world, Liam then decided to join forces with Sean O’Brien to create the much anticipate FEIS App. For the first time in the Irish dancing world, dancers, teachers and parents now have access to their favourite musicians’ entire music collections at the tips of their fingers. FEIS App also has fantastic features such as: FEIS News – Irish dancing’s first in-app news publication on everything Irish dance; FEIS Info – a space that brings together all up and coming FEIS Information in one handy place; FEIS Live – a feature that allows Feiseanna to be broadcast live to the Irish dancing world and coming very soon, FEIS SHOP – a place where people can access Irish dancing vendors at the touch of a button.
Liam or ‘Sully’ as he is known, is incredibly proud to have been a part of the creation of FEIS App and looks forward to the journey ahead.
